Thank goodness Tim is mobile again. The cleaning hobby sounds a bit worrying, though… that usually means the nasty hoover thing.
Maggie has been ‘busy’ (ha ha) on Twitter and has recommended you to any school kids who want to follow your adventures. We hope that this doesn’t give you extra work which might detract from valuable sofa time.

Hope that Tim makes a good recovery with his physio. Poor Hilary - I bet she was so looking forward to handing some of your walks back to Tim and having a little more time to herself once again!

Good luck to Tim on having sight of a withered leg! Yes, you will need lots of extra walks to build up his strength and make up for lost time.

Apparently you are not alone on this, Max. When the extra humans were staying here the grandbaby one was seen to be chewing on some rather pretty wrapping paper (she eats anything). Later when her nappy was changed it was found to have sparkly bits in it!

We have escaped most of the snow, which is a pity as it’s rather tasty.

It’s good to know that you have your rightful place on the sofa. Tim should really be sitting on the floor but he does look pleased to be allowed up on the sofa for a short time. Keep up the good work, Max!

I am really glad I am a cat and not a dog and I do not have to go out for walks in this absolutely terrible weather. I sat in the doorway this morning and decided I would go no further. I even got a bit wet just doing that.

However it has given me plenty of time to read my copy of the Scotsman. I wonder if you saw the picture of a splendid black labrador called Treo. He has been awarded a medal for bravery. He had been sniffing out bombs in Afghanistan and helping to save lives. It said his medal was an ‘Animal VC’. My humans thought he looked like Mole. I wonder if Mole would have been brave like that.

It certainly was hard work looking after all those humans. We even had more humans last Thursday who came and had lunch with us. They brought yet another small human with them She was just abit older than our smallest human - but not alot. I am glad to say she stayed in one place. She was a very happy little human. I am not quite sure of the story but it seems that her mother had been at school with my extra female human and her father was at university with my extra female’s husband. It all sounds very complicated but everyone was pleased to see everyone else and they were all really happy. Actually I think they came once before; it was round about Christmas time.

Now we are back to normal and I have been watching the birds out of my windows. I did try the garden this morning but despite the sun it is very cold.

They are lovely pictures, Max and really clever of you and your female human to get them on your blog.

I have been enjoying my garden but I wish it was abit warmer.

All my visitors have gone home now. I really liked my extra female human. She was very kind to me and said I was a lovely cat. Her husband was nice too. I was not so keen on the small humans. The grand baby was fine as long as she was not on the floor. I missed them all quite a lot and had a good look to see if they were still here yesterday evening but they have all gone.

I quite agree with you about being associated with anything common. I would certainly not want to be thought common being a very superior cat.
