Keeping busy
Jan 26th, 2010 by max
My female human says she is kept very busy now my male human is incapacitated. She had a day today which Tim said sounded just like a normal day for him, running around from one thing to another without really pausing for breath!
I am glad to report that I remain her top priority and got my two walks in - although the early morning one has to be an on lead walk as it is still dark, and, as I just may have blogged before, Hilary is too wimpish to let me off lead in the park when she cannot see! However I really cannot complain as she is getting up now at 6.15 am to walk me before work, and I quite like this new routine.
She asked me to tell you what she did today, and to be honest it doesn’t really sound like much:
Fed cat
walked me 30 mins on lead
showered and got dressed, had breakfast made packed lunch and fed me
took car to garage for service and eventually managed to start the courtesy car to get home again
took in the wheelie bin (my enemy!)
worked from home for 2 hours while waiting for my new laptop to be delivered (Tim was out at the fracture clinic. In case you are interested his ankle is doing Ok but he has to have another 5 weeks in plaster)
got delivery of the laptop and left it for Tim to play with
posted an exciting church letter for Tim
went to the office in Lochgelly and worked the rest of the day…..
came home and walked me (35 mins off lead in my park)
collected the car from garage
checked emails etc
put away the new hoover bags which had been delivered
fed cat and fish
put a load of washing on
ate a microwave meal (Tim had already gone out to Vestry!)
fed me
delivered a book to someone from Tim
went to the Vets and bought me and Monty wormer (yeuch)
went to Tesco and bought some food (including corned beef for me and Tim) and also some small items for the flat
hoovered the living room and hall
sorted the washing
she now says it’s time for a cup of tea. Pah! I wanted another walk!
