A day of mixed emotions

Today was a day of mixed emotions for me and my humans.
Firstly, it was the day we got the keys and officially became the owners of my new holiday home in Auchtermuchty!  All very exciting indeed. I decided to let the humans do the hard work of moving things and getting my flat ready for [...]

Keeping busy

My female human says she is kept very busy now my male human is incapacitated.  She had a day today which Tim said sounded just like a normal day for him, running around from one thing to another without really pausing for breath!
I am glad to report that I remain her top priority and got my [...]

One of the many advantages of being a dog is that I have lots of hair, which means lots of hairs to shed and share around the place. This is good as it marks out that everything is mine, and indeed  shows what a superior dog I am! I would like to see my humans especially [...]

As I told you sometime ago, my humans gave me a holiday home for Christmas: my very own flat, in a place Tim can’t pronouce right: called ‘Auchtermuchty’. Being inferior humans, they got the dates muddled, and I won’t actually get my flat until next weekend.
That gave them time to buy me the things I [...]

Today is my humans’ wedding anniversary. They have been married for five long happy years with never a cross word!

stuck with Tim

I am going to be stuck with Tim for a few days as my female human is going away for work. She is off to Edinburgh on a course called “Accredited EFQM Assessor” training. It all sounds remarkably boring to me and there are no dogs involved.
Anyway she gave a me an extra long [...]

Bye bye swan

On Christmas eve, which was a very long time ago now, my visiting extra humans made a snow swan (Bryony) and a snow elephant (Laura) in my front garden. The swan was evil. From the very day it was created it threatened all who looked at it! Here is Laura being brave.

Anyway for [...]

Misbehaving

Well, according to my humans I have been misbehaving recently. Apparantly I have done things like taken “rubbish” from the kitchen bin and made a mess , ran up and jumped on unsuspecting strange humans on my walks, and pulled Hilary over some very slippery snow and ice in order to chase a rabbit….. and [...]

Ice! Not nice!

Well the temperature here is finally above freezing and the big thaw is starting. The polar bear Laura made in the garden on Christmas eve is now a tiny blob of snow -virtually gone. The body of Bryony’s snow swan is still there though, being rather bigger! There are also carrots and black olives lying [...]
