Burningbronze!

I read in that excellent newspaper The Guardian this morning that Twitter (the micro blogging social networking site) now has 2.4 million users in the UK alone - which is an awful lot of people, dogs and other species…..(and most of them are older rather than younger!)
And now there is one more. Yes, not content with my male human (@meltedgold) and my female human (@floatingsilver) and of course me, @superiordog , being on Twitter, last night my male human convinced my extra human , Laura, who is staying with us for a few days, to join up too!
They spent a long time trying possible user names for Laura, but many were already taken. However, Hilary (who had got up out of bed and come downstairs concerned about cats wailing in the garden as it just might have been Monty) came up with burningbronze which Laura approved of, so, that it is.
So.. that’s four of the Bennison family on Twitter!
Laura is secretly (well actually fairly publically) soon becoming a twitter addict. She may need therapy soon. But obviously the excitement of having yet another twitterer was too much for the site which crashed today. The official line is that it was hackers and a “denial of service attack” but I know the truth.
Burningbronze was just too much for twitter to cope with!

I notice, Max, that your name does not fit into the hierarchy of the rest of the family. Surely, after gold, silver and bronze you should be something like @oozingmud, puting you in your proper place. Superior dog just doesn’t fit!
Quite a different subject, but it says in that excellent newspaper, The Scotsman, that they are now producing ice cream for dogs. It comes in three flavours; Panting Peanut Mutter, Oaty Pawfection and Chase Your Tail Cheesecake. Apparently it is very good for you. I thought you should know about this so you can get you humans to buy some for you. They don’t seem to do anything for cats.
Wow thank you for letting me know Henry’s humans. They all sound yummy. i will ask my humans to get me some, and tell them it is only for me!
